() (stylized as ) is a French rap album through a collaboration of around 50 French rappers mainly from Marseille. The album was released on Rien 100 Rien label on 9 October 2020. 13 Organisé collective The project was launched by rapper Jul in mid-August 2020, when he announced it naming the initial participants as SCH, Naps, Soprano, Alonzo, Soso Maness, Kofs, L'Algérino and groups and collectives like IAM, Fonky Family and Ghetto Phénomène, and mentioning the album launch on 9 October 2020. Julien Mari (, born 14 January 1990), better known as Jul (, stylized as JuL and in all caps), is a French rapper, singer, and producer. In February 2020, he became the biggest record seller in the history of French rap with more than four million albums sold at the age of 30, and in six years of career. Biography Jul was born in the 12th arrondissement of Marseille. Career Jul released his first single "''Sors le cross volé''" in November 2013. On 24 February 2014, he released his debut album, "''Dans ma paranoïa''" on the independent Liga One Industry label. It was the first of a prolific series. Since the beginning of his career, he has released at least two LPs per year, all reaching the platinum certification or greater. Fonky Family () or La Fonky Family (often shortened to La Fonky, or La FF), is a French hip hop band from Marseille, consisting of four rappers, Le Rat Luciano, , and Sat, producer , DJ Djel, dancer Blaze, singer Karima, Flex (fetus) Nandell, and manager Fafa. Fonky Family made their first appearance on the French hip hop scene in 1994, after IAM had paved the way for new hip hop artists originating from Marseille. In 1995, they appeared in the song titled "Les Bad Boys de Marseille" on ', the first solo album by IAM's Akhenaton. Their first album, ', came out in 1997 and soon received a gold album. Karima left the group before the release of the album. In 1998, the group were invited to collaborate with Akhenaton on the soundtrack of Luc Besson's film ''Taxi''. Ultratop is an organization which generates and publishes the official record charts in Belgium. Ultratop is a non-profit organization, created on the initiative of the Belgian Entertainment Association (BEA), the Belgian member organization of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry. Geoffroy Mussard (; born 11 March 1966), known by his stage name Shurik'n, is a French rapper from Marseille. He is one of the members of the hip hop group IAM, as well as a major solo artist. With his brother Faf Larage (Raphaël Mussard), he also is a member of the group La Garde. Mussard was born in Miramas on 11 March 1966, with Malagasy and Réunionnais origins. In 1988, he met Akhenaton, with whom he formed IAM. Mussard adopted the stage name Shurik'n Chang-Ti, reflecting his interest in Oriental culture and his background in martial arts, such as judo, karate and kung fu. IAM released its first album, ''De la Planète Mars'', in 1990. After three albums with IAM, Shurik'n decided to start pursuing a solo career with his 1998 album ''Où je vis''. Philippe Fragione (; born 17 September 1968), better known by his stage name Akhenaton, is a French rapper and hip hop producer. He has also worked under the aliases Chill, AKH, Sentenza and Spectre. He is best known as member of hip hop group IAM and has since made a number of records, both with IAM and as a solo artist. IAM (band)
IAM (pronounced "I am") is a French hip hop group from Marseille. Formed in 1989, it comprises Akhenaton (AKH; Philippe Fragione), Shurik'n (Geoffroy Mussard), Khéops (Éric Mazel), Imhotep (Pascal Perez) and Kephren (François Mendy). IAM has several meanings, including ''Invasion Arrivée de Mars'' ("Invasion from Mars"; Mars is frequently used as a metaphor for Marseille in IAM songs).
