InterCity 125
The InterCity 125 (originally Inter-City 125) or High Speed Train (HST) is a diesel-powered High-speed rail, high-speed passenger train built by British Rail Engineering Limited between 1975 and 1982. A total of 95 sets were produced, each comprising two British Rail Class 43 (HST), Class 43 power cars, one at each end, and a rake (train)#R, rake of seven or eight British Rail Mark 3, Mark 3 coaches. The name is derived from its top operational speed of . At times, the sets have been classified as British Rail Classes 253, 254 and 255. British Rail (BR) initially developed the HST as an interim measure in the early 1970s, as delays and cost concerns began to threaten their primary high-speed train project, the Advanced Passenger Train (APT). The HSTs are now widely considered to be among the most successful trains to have operated on the British railway network, both in terms of their initial impact and their longevity: their introduction into service between 1976 and 1982 res ...

Fiat 125
The Fiat 125 is a large family car manufactured and marketed by Italian company Fiat from 1967 to 1972. Derivatives were built under license outside Italy until the 1990s. As launched the car was unusual in blending saloon car passenger accommodation with sports car performance, a combination which would be more widely adopted by the European volume auto-makers in the decade ahead. The body The chassis used was the same as that of the longer variant of the outgoing model, the Fiat 1300/1500, and the floor pan was virtually unchanged from it. The body was a slightly lengthened development of the Fiat 124: the two models had the same passenger compartment and doors, but the 125's rear seat was set slightly further back, reflecting the 25 cm longer wheelbase, inherited from the Fiat 1500, and over 8 cm (3 inches) longer than that of the 124. Engine and running gear The new car's engine was based on the one fitted in the Fiat 124 Sport: a 1608 cc Overhead camshaft, DOH ...

125 (dinghy)
The 125 is a two person intermediate sailing dinghy complete with main, jib, spinnaker and trapeze. The 125 class has a strong following within Australia with national titles being held every year around the country and local state associations. The class was originally designed as an intermediate class for developing skills with the jib, spinnaker and trapeze but has become popular from novice to experienced sailors. History The 125 was designed in 1969 by Simon Greig as a class that would sit between Jack Holt's Mirror and the larger Mirror 16 at . As with the Mirrors, the 125 can be assembled from plywood using the " stitch and glue" method, and, as far as possible, the 125 uses Mirror parts in its design. The parallels between the boats go as far as the design of the sail insignia – the 125 employs a design based on the Mirror's symbol lying on its side. Nevertheless, initial sales were not good, and with the arrival of the Mirror 14 Greig had decided not to c ...

125 Liberatrix
125 Liberatrix is a main-belt asteroid. It has a relatively reflective surface and an M-type spectrum. Liberatrix is a member of an asteroid family bearing its own name. It was discovered by Prosper Henry on 11 September 1872, from Paris. Some sources give Paul Henry sole credit for its discovery.Schmadel Lutz D. ''Dictionary of Minor Planet Names'' (fifth edition), Springer, 2003. . The asteroid's name is a feminine version of the word "liberator". Henry may have chosen the name to mark the liberation of France from Prussia during the Franco-Prussian War in 1870. More specifically, it may honor Adolphe Thiers, the first President of the French Republic, who arranged a loan that enabled the Prussian troops to be removed from France. In the late 1990s, a network of astronomers worldwide gathered lightcurve In astronomy, a light curve is a graph (discrete mathematics), graph of the Radiance, light intensity of a celestial object or region as a function of time, typic ...

125 (number)
125 (one hundred ndtwenty-five) is the natural number following 124 and preceding 126. In mathematics 125 is the cube of 5. It can be expressed as a sum of two squares in two different ways, 125 = 10² + 5² = 11² + 2². 125 and 126 form a Ruth-Aaron pair under the second definition in which repeated prime factors are counted as often as they occur. Like many other powers of 5, it is a Friedman number A Friedman number is an integer, which represented in a given numeral system, is the result of a non-trivial expression using all its own digits in combination with any of the four basic arithmetic operators (+, −, ×, ÷), additive inverses, ... in base 10 since 125 = 51 + 2. 125 is the center of a close triplet of perfect powers, (121 = 112, 125 = 53, 128 = 27). Excluding the trivial cases of 0 and 1, the only closer such triplet is (4,8,9) and the only other equally close is (25, 27, 32). References Integers {{Num-stub ...
