11 O'Clock
''11 O'Clock'' is a 1948 action film directed by Homi Wadia. It starred Fearless Nadia, John Cawas, Atish Sayani and Aftab. The Austin car, which was a regular in most Fearless Nadia films, was given a billing with the main cast as "Austin Ki Bacchi" (daughter of Austin). The music was composed by Chitragupta. Homi Wadia had left Wadia Movietone, having parted ways with his brother JBH Wadia and started his own film company called Basant Pictures. He was to continue with the action genre, but produced more mythological films under this banner. His co-sponsor was M. B. Billimoria, who also distributed the film. Plot Suresh (John Cawas) has been left by his uncle in his will. The stipulation is that he has to be married and reach the lawyer's office by 11 O'Clock the next morning. The money will otherwise go to his cousin Harish. He entreats Harish to help him find a bride, but under the pretense of helping him, Harish tries to foil his plans. Homi Wadia
Homi Wadia (22 May 1911 – 10 December 2004) was an Indian film director and producer in Bollywood (Hindi cinema). He was the co-founder of Wadia Movietone productions, established in 1933 and later after the closure of Wadiatone, he founded Basant Pictures in 1942. In a career spanning five decades, he directed over 40 films, including ''Hunterwali'' (1935), ''Miss Frontier Mail'' (1936), '' Diamond Queen'' (1940), Shri Ram Bhakta Hanuman(1948) and fantasy film ''Hatim Tai'' (1956). He was also a founding member of the Film & Television Producers Guild of India, established in 1954. Homi Wadia was married to actress and stunt woman Fearless Nadia. Homi was the younger brother of JBH Wadia, who was himself a movie director. John Cawas
John Cawas (1910 – 4 October 1993) was a stuntman and actor in Hindi movies. Cawas made his debut in the Hindi film ''Hunterwali'' (1935), which became a career-defining movie for Fearless Nadia and Wadia Movietone. Cawas himself was famous for his performance of Tarzan in various movies. Early life Born in 1910 in Jabalpur in a Parsi family, Cawas pursued a career of professional body building and won the 1930 All-India Bodybuilding Championship. Chitragupta (composer)
Chitragupt Shrivastava (16 November 1917 – 14 January 1991), better known as Chitragupt, was an Indian film music director in Hindi cinema and Bhojpuri cinema. Personal life He was born in Sawreji, a village located in Saran district in the Indian state of Bihar (now in Gopalganj district). His sons, Anand and Milind Shrivastava, are also Bollywood music directors. Career He mostly worked with lyricist Majrooh Sultanpuri. Also the song "Machalti Hui Hawa Mein Chham Chham" sung by Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar from "Ganga Ki Lahrein" was a hit. Wadia Movietone was a noted Indian film production company and studio based in Mumbai, established in 1933 by Wadia brothers J. B. H. Wadia and Homi Wadia. It was most known for stunt, fantasy and mythological films, including ''Hunterwali'' (1935). Jamshed Boman Homi Wadia (13 September 1901 – 4 January 1986), commonly referred to as J. B. H. Wadia, was a prominent Bollywood movie director, screenwriter, producer and founder of Wadia Movietone Studio.
