1. FC Slovácko is a Czech football club based in Uherské Hradiště. The team was established in 1927 as SK Staré Město and on 1 July 2000 as 1. FC Synot, which was a merger of the original club with ''FC Slovácká Slavia Uherské Hradiště''. Since 2009 the club has played in the Czech First League. Slovácko have won one Czech Cup, and reached the cup final a further two times. History Established in 1927 as SK Staré Město, the club played exclusively in the lower levels of Czechoslovak and later Czech football. Staré Město won the Moravian–Silesian Football League in the 1996–97 season and were promoted to the Czech 2. Liga in 1997. The club won promotion from the Czech 2. Liga in 2000, clinching promotion five matches before the end of the season. This marked the start of the club's first-ever spell in the country's top flight. Městský fotbalový stadion Miroslava Valenty is a multi-use stadium in Uherské Hradiště, Czech Republic. It is used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of 1. FC Slovácko. The stadium has an all-seated capacity of 8,121 people. Milan Petržela
Milan Petržela (born 19 June 1983) is a Czech professional footballer who plays as a winger for Czech First League club 1. FC Slovácko. He has played for the Czech Republic national team. Career Petržela grew up in the South Moravian village Hoštice-Heroltice. In August 2003 he moved to 1. FC Slovácko of the Czech First League. There he played 70 games in three years and in the summer of 2006 he was bought by Sparta Prague. They however loaned him out to FK Jablonec where he made 24 appearances. Stanislav Hofmann (born 17 June 1990) is a Czech professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Czech club Slovácko. Club career Hofmann is a youth product of his local club Baník Most since the age of 5, and began his senior career with them in 2008.
