It was announced on April 3, 2012, by Markus Persson, the game's lead designer. The game was eventually indefinitely postponed because Persson found several creative blocks, citing the main problem as "it not being very fun to play." Persson then stated he will instead most likely continue to work on smaller projects for the rest of his life. The game was later completely cancelled. Markus Alexej Persson (; born 1 June 1979), also known as Notch, is a Swedish video game programmer and designer. He is best known for creating the sandbox video game ''Minecraft'' and for founding the video game company Mojang in 2009.
