Ali Kemal Sunal (11 November 1944 – 3 July 2000) was a Turkish actor and comedian. With ''Hababam Sınıfı'', ''Kapıcılar Kralı'' and '' Davaro'', Sunal gained large popularity amongst Turkish cinema goers and was famed for his character "Åžaban", a role he frequently played. Career Kemal Sunal graduated from Vefa Lisesi (Vefa High School). In his early ages, he started pursuing what was to become a long and successful acting career in minor roles in various theatres. For a brief period, he worked in the Kenterler Theatre and debuted in the play ''Zoraki Tabip''. He was later transferred to the DevekuÅŸu Kabare Theatre, where he performed his acting. He was recognized as a real talent, and started receiving offers for movies with larger budgets and a more famous cast. Şener Şen (born 26 December 1941) is a Turkish film and theatre actor who has won the Golden Orange for Best Actor twice for his roles in '' Mr. Muhsin'' (1985) and '' Lovelorn'' (2005), the Golden Orange for Best Supporting Actor for '' Çöpçüler Kralı'' (1977) and a Golden Orange Lifetime Achievement Award. Şaban, the Turkish is a popular cinema character, portrayed by Turkish actor Kemal Sunal. Both figures rose to fame hand in hand, as the commoner clean-hearted looks of Şaban on the screen became very popular among Turkish citizens, and the two names had been used interchangeably, similar to the connection between The Tramp and Charlie Chaplin. Şevket Altuğ (born 13 March 1943) is a Turkish actor. Altuğ was born in Bandırma and grew up in İstanbul where he studied at Galatasaray High School.
