"Ég er kominn heim" is a song performed by the Icelandic singer Óðinn Valdimarsson and the band K.K. sextettinn. The song is originally by Hungarian composer Emmerich Kálmán and the lyrics were written by Jón Sigurðsson. It was released in 1960 on the album ''Óðinn''. The song gained a resurgence after being covered by Björgvin Halldórsson on his 2003 album ''Íslandslög 6''. In 2008, the song was covered by Bubbi Morthens and Björn Jörundur Friðbjörnsson. Odin (; from non, Óðinn, ) is a widely revered god in Germanic paganism. The 2016 EHF European Men's Handball Championship was the twelfth edition and was held for the first time in Poland from 15–31 January 2016. EuroBasket 2015 was the 39th edition of the EuroBasket championship that was organized by FIBA Europe. It was co-hosted by Croatia, France, Germany, and Latvia, making it the first EuroBasket held in more than one country. It started on 5 September and ended on 20 September 2015.
