"Ámame una Vez Más" (Love Me One More Time) (also subtitled as "La Última Luna") (The Last Moon) is a song performed by Amanda Miguel on her 1996 studio album of the same name. It was co-written by Anahí (not to be confused with the RBD member of the same name) and produced by her husband Diego Verdaguer. The album remarked the return of Amanda Miguel following more than a five-year hiatus. "Ámame una Vez Más" won the ''Billboard'' Latin Music Award for Latin Pop Song of the Year in 1997 and was recognized as one of the award-winning songs at the ASCAP Latin Awards in the same year. It was also nominated for Pop Song of the Year at the 8th Annual Lo Nuestro Awards in 1997. Amanda Miguel (born 1 June 1956) is an Argentine singer. Early life Miguel was born in Gaiman, in the Chubut Province in Argentina, June 1, 1956. Career At 17, she met Diego Verdaguer, a man five years her senior, whom she would later marry. At this time, Verdaguer was already an established artist, and she joined his musical group called Mediterráneo. The group enjoyed success in Los Angeles, California, but after being discovered by a Univision network record executive, she launched her own solo career with help from San Diego. Miguel's first album, ''El Sonido Vol. 1'', was recorded in 1981, and released a year later. Implementing a different sound and style than Mediterráneo, her album was a success. Follow-up albums were released a year later. Miguel Atilio Boccadoro Hernández (26 April 1951 – 27 January 2022), known professionally as Diego Verdaguer (, was an Argentine-born singer. Biography Verdaguer played the trumpet and the bandoneón. He was married to the singer Amanda Miguel. His most famous songs are " Volveré", "Corazón de Papel", "Usted Qué Haría", and "La Ladrona". He had a hit in 2009 after a decade of absence with the song "Voy a Conquistarte", written by the Mexican singer-songwriter Joan Sebastián. He had lifetime sales of almost 50 million records. Verdaguer was born in Buenos Aires on 26 April 1951, and lived in Mexico from 1980 onwards. He died from COVID-19 in Los Angeles on 27 January 2022, at the age of 70. Anahí Giovanna Puente Portilla (born 14 May 1983), known mononymously as Anahí, is a Mexican actress and singer. In 1986, she started her acting career when she was cast on ''Chiquilladas''. The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) () is an American not-for-profit performance-rights organization (PRO) that collectively licenses the public performance rights of its members' musical works to venues, broadcasters, and digital streaming services (music stores).
