(G)I-dle (), stylized in all caps, is a South Korean girl group formed by Cube Entertainment in 2018. The group consists of five members: Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi and Shuhua. Originally a sextet, Soojin left the lineup on August 14, 2021. (G)I-dle debuted on May 2, 2018, with the single "Latata" from their first extended play (EP) ''I Am''. They debuted in Japan under U-Cube with ''Latata'' on July 31, 2019. After signing with Republic Records in the United States in 2020, the group released their third EP ''I Trust'', which made them only the fourth girl group to sell 100,000 copies of an album in its first week. Their 2020 single album ''Dumdi Dumdi'' became the second best-selling single album by a girl group of all time. Nxde
"Nxde" (pronounced "nude") is a song by South Korean girl group (G)I-dle. It was released through Cube Entertainment on October 17, 2022, as the lead single of the group's fifth extended play '' I Love'' (2022). It was written, composed, and arranged by Soyeon with additional composition and arrangement credits by PopTime and Kako. Musically, it is an alternative pop song that utilizes jazzy instrumentations while its lyrics revolve around the notion of expressing one's true self. "Nxde" was met with generally positive reviews from critics, who praised its production and noted its themes of female empowerment, self-love, objectification and hypersexualization of women by the media and public. "Hwaa" (; stylized in all caps) is a song recorded by South Korean girl group (G)I-dle, released on January 11, 2021, by Cube Entertainment and Republic Records as the second track and lead single of the group's fourth extended play, ''I Burn''. The song is written by member Soyeon and co-produced by Pop Time. The inspiration for the song came to Soyeon when member Shuhua once said 'winter girl' in a conversation. She took the idea and created the concept of a woman trapped in winter. The song was the last single released by (G)I-dle as a sextet, before Soojin's departure from the group in August 2021. "Hwaa" is described as a song that expresses the feelings after a breakup with the ambiguous subject of ''hwa''. She is a member of South Korean girl group (G)I-dle, which debuted on May 2, 2018 under Cube Entertainment. Life and career 1997–2017: Early life and pre-debut Minnie was born on October 23, 1997, in Bangkok, Thailand. She has older twin brothers. "Uh-Oh" is a song recorded by South Korean girl group (G)I-dle. It was released on June 26, 2019, by Cube Entertainment as their second digital single. A Japanese version of the song was released on August 26, 2020, for their 2nd Japanese EP ''Oh My God''. Soojin (singer)
Seo Soo-jin (; born March 9, 1998), better known mononymously as Soojin, is a South Korean singer and dancer. She is a former member of the girl group (G)I-dle under Cube Entertainment. Early life Soojin was born in Gyeonggi, South Korea. She attended Waw Middle School in Hwaseong. She later learned jazz dance and taekwondo while studying at the Korean Arts High School. She decided early in her life that she wanted to pursue a singing career, but said it took two years for her to convince her father to agree with her decisions. Career Pre-debut Soojin was a trainee in DN Entertainment and was originally supposed to be a member of the South Korean girl group Vividiva under her stage name N.Na (앤나), She took part in several performances and photo shoots of the group, but then left the group in 2015.
