'Allo 'Allo! (series 6)
The sixth series of the British Sitcom series '''Allo 'Allo!'' contains eight episodes which first aired between 2 September and 21 October 1989 and repeated between 11 May and 29 June 1992. Series 6 and subsequent episodes were 30 minutes in length, as they were not co-commissioned for the American market (as series 5 was). Jack Haig was originally meant to star in the series; but his death before the start of production prevented this. As the LeClerc character was important to the series, Derek Royle was brought in to play the part of Ernest LeClerc, Roger's brother. Naturally, the two characters are very similar in the roles that they play within the show's plot. Kenneth Connor
Kenneth Connor, (6 June 1918 – 28 November 1993) was a British stage, film and broadcasting actor, who rose to national prominence with his appearances in the ''Carry On'' films. Early life Connor was born in Highbury, Islington, London, the son of a naval petty officer who organised concert parties. He first appeared on the stage at the age of two as an organ-grinder's monkey in one of his father's shows, in Portsmouth. By the age of 11 he had his own act. He attended the Central School of Speech and Drama, where he was a Gold Medal winner. Connor made his professional debut in J. M. Barrie's ''The Boy David'', at His Majesty's Theatre, London, in December 1936. Sue Hodge (born 4 June 1957 in Orsett, Essex) is an English actress, best known for her role as the waitress Mimi Labonq in the BBC sitcom '' 'Allo 'Allo!''. Trained as a dancer and theatre performer at Bird College, she has performed extensively in theatre and on television in the UK and internationally, and appeared as a Force of Darkness in Terry Gilliam's 1985 film ''Brazil''. She returned to the role of Mimi in ''The Return of 'Allo 'Allo!'' in 2007. Rose Hill (actress)
Rose Lilian Hill (5 June 1914 – 22 December 2003) was an English actress and operatic soprano, who remains best known for her role as Madame Fanny La Fan in the British television series '' 'Allo 'Allo!''. She was a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company. Biography Hill was born in London and won a scholarship to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She started her career as a soprano in 1939, singing at the Sadler's Wells Opera (later English National Opera) in London; soubrette and lyric soprano roles such as Despina in Mozart's opera ''Così fan tutte''.
