''Toy Story 3'' is a 2010 American computer-animated comedy-drama film produced by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures. It is the third installment in the ''Toy Story'' series and the sequel to '' Toy Story 2'' (1999). It was directed by Lee Unkrich, the editor of the first two films and the co-director of ''Toy Story 2'', produced by Darla K. Anderson, and written by Michael Arndt, while Unkrich wrote the story along with John Lasseter and Andrew Stanton, respectively, director and co-writer of the first two films. The film's ensemble voice cast, Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Don Rickles, Wallace Shawn, John Ratzenberger, Estelle Harris, Jeff Pidgeon, Jodi Benson, John Morris, Laurie Metcalf and R. Lee Unkrich
Lee Edward Unkrich (born August 8, 1967) is an American film director, film editor, screenwriter, and animator. He was a longtime member of the creative team at Pixar, where he started in 1994 as a film editor. He later began directing, first as co-director of ''Toy Story 2''. After co-directing ''Toy Story 2'', '' Monsters, Inc.'' and ''Finding Nemo'', Unkrich made his solo directorial debut with ''Toy Story 3'' in 2010, and most recently directed '' Coco'' in 2017, both of which won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature and the Academy Award for Best Original Song. After working at Pixar for 25 years, Unkrich retired from the company in January 2019 to spend more time with his family and pursue other interests. James Albert Varney Jr. (June 15, 1949 – February 10, 2000) was an American actor and comedian. He is best known for his broadly comedic role as Ernest P. Worrell, for which he won a Daytime Emmy Award, as well as appearing in films and numerous television commercial advertising campaigns.
