Santurce, San Juan, Puerto Rico
Santurce (, from the Basque '' Santurtzi'' which means Saint George) is a barrio or district in the municipality of San Juan. Its population in 2020 was 69,469. It is also the biggest and most populated of all the barrios in the capital city with a bigger population than most municipalities of Puerto Rico and one of the most densely populated areas of the island (13,257.4 persons per square mile). Geography Geographically speaking, Santurce is a peninsula that is attached to the mainland in the east, where it borders with the Isla Verde district of Carolina. It is 7.6 km long from west to east, and up to 3.0 km wide in the eastern part. The barrios of Puerto Rico are the primary legal divisions of the seventy-eight municipalities of Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico's 78 '' municipios'' are divided into geographical sections called '' barrios'' (English: " wards") and, as of 2010, there were 902 of them. Condado (Santurce)
Condado is an oceanfront, tree-lined, pedestrian-oriented upper middle to upper class community in Santurce. It is one of the forty subbarrios of Santurce in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Setting Condado is an upscale neighborhood located on the beach. It is located east of the historic colonial barrio of Old San Juan. It is one of 40 subbarrios of Santurce. The land area measures with a resident population of 6,170 according to the 2000 United States Census. The eastern border is marked by De Diego Avenue and its straight extension towards the Atlantic coast. Condado Lagoon
Condado Lagoon ( es, Laguna del Condado) is located in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It is an effluent body of water that flows freely between the Condado and Miramar neighborhoods of Santurce, a barrio of San Juan. Background Its tributary stream of water forms part of the San Juan Bay Estuary. An estuary is a coastal area where fresh water from rivers and other inland water sources mixes with salt water from the ocean. The Metropolitan Area of Puerto Rico is intersected by estuarine bodies of water, such as Condado Lagoon, Martín Peña Channel, San José Lagoon and Piñones Lagoon, among others. The Cucharillas Marsh is another part of this urban ecosystem. Sagrado Corazón / Monteflores (Santurce)
Sagrado Corazón and Monteflores are two contiguous neighborhoods with similar characteristics formerly known as the Alto de Ubarri and part of Santurce's 40 subbarrios. Sagrado Corazón measures 0.34 km² (345,472 m²), with a resident population of 1,646 while Monteflores measures 0.17 km² (172,397 m²), with a resident population of 1,657, both as of the 2000 United States Census. Isleta De San Juan
The Isleta de San Juan (Spanish for ''Islet of San Juan'') is a island in the San Juan Bay in the Atlantic coast of northern Puerto Rico. Home of Old San Juan, it is the site of the oldest permanent European settlement in Puerto Rico (1521), and the second oldest European settlement in the West Indies after Santo Domingo (1496). Avenida Juan Ponce de León, coextensive as Route PR-25 along its entire length, is one of the main thoroughfares in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Route description It is a mostly three-lane, one-way road. San Juan Bay

Hato Rey Central is one of the 18 barrios of the municipality of San Juan, Puerto Rico. With a population density of 16,155.3 per square mile. It has a land area of 1.03 sq mi and a 2010 Census population of 16,640. Hato Rey Central was a barrio of the former municipality of Rio Piedras, before it was merged with San Juan in 1951.
