Quebec Biker War
The Quebec Biker War (french: Guerre des motards au Québec) was a turf war in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, lasting from 1994 to 2002, between the Quebec branch of the Hells Angels and the Rock Machine. The war left 162 people dead, including civilians. Crime in Canada is generally considered low overall. Under the Canadian constitution, the power to establish criminal law and rules of investigation is vested in the federal Parliament. Michel "Sky" Langlois (born 2 July 1946) is a Canadian outlaw biker and gangster who served as the second national president of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club in Canada. Bernard Landry
Bernard Landry (; March 9, 1937 – November 6, 2018) was a Canadian politician who served as the 28th premier of Quebec from 2001 to 2003. A member of the Parti Québécois (PQ), he led the party from 2001 to 2005, also serving as the leader of the Opposition from 2003 to 2005. Lucien Bouchard
Lucien Bouchard (; born December 22, 1938) is a Canadian lawyer, diplomat and retired politician. Minister for two years in the Mulroney cabinet, Bouchard then led the emerging Bloc Québécois and became Leader of the Opposition in the House of Commons of Canada from 1993 to 1996. Jacques Parizeau (; August 9, 1930June 1, 2015) was a Canadian politician and Québécois economist who was a noted Quebec sovereigntist and the 26th premier of Quebec from September 26, 1994, to January 29, 1996. Johnny Plescio
Johnny Plescio (1964 – 8 September 1998) was a Canadian outlaw biker and gangster, who was one of the founding members of the Rock Machine Motorcycle Club. Plescio became widely known for his "strong-arm tactics" and was highly respected within the club. Rock Machine Born in Montreal, Plescio became close friends with Salvatore and Giovanni Cazzetta, with whom he would go on to become a founding member of the Rock Machine in 1986. Frédéric Faucher
Frédéric Faucher (born 16 December 1969) is a Canadian outlaw biker and gangster who served as national president of the Rock Machine Motorcycle Club during the Quebec Biker War (1994-2002). He played a significant role in the conflict and was responsible for facilitating the merger between the Rock Machine and the Bandidos Motorcycle Club, which took place on December 1, 2001. Claude Vézina
Claude Vézina (born 15 June 1956) is a Canadian outlaw biker and gangster who served as president of the Rock Machine Motorcycle Club's Quebec City chapter, before being promoted to national president of the club after the imprisonment of Salvatore Cazzetta. He himself was also convicted of narcotics trafficking. Giovanni Cazzetta
Giovanni "Johnny" Cazzetta (born 1957) is a Canadian outlaw biker and gangster who, along with his brother Salvatore Cazzetta, was a co-founder of the Rock Machine Motorcycle Club in Montreal. He was the club's second in command, and also had considerable connections with Quebec's Mafia figures. Outlaw biker Cazzetta was born in Montreal, Quebec, in 1957. He and his brother Salvatore grew up in the city's Saint-Henri neighborhood, which was known as a territory of the Dubois brothers. Giovanni acknowledged during his trial that he had spent his younger years "basically raising himself", and that he had made a conscious decision to take up a life of organized crime for monetary gain.
