is a Japanese animation studio and production enterprise, founded on December 15, 1987, by Mitsuhisa Ishikawa and headquartered in Musashino, Tokyo, Japan. The letters I and G derive from the names of the company founders: producer Mitsuhisa Ishikawa and character designer Takayuki Goto. Zillion (anime)
is a Japanese anime television series that ran from April 12-December 13, 1987 on Nippon Television in Japan and was produced by Tatsunoko Productions. After the production of the anime, Tatsunoko Production and Mitsuhisa Ishikawa, the producer of ''Zillion'', established IG Tatsunoko (which later became Production I.G) to obstruct the dispersing of the excellent staffs of Tatsunoko branch which had done actual production. Therefore, ''Zillion'' is considered to be Production I.G's first work. Five of the 31 episodes were Dubbing (filmmaking), dubbed into English and released on VHS in the United States by Streamline Pictures. Guilty Crown
is a 2011 Japanese anime television series produced by Production I.G which aired on Fuji TV's noitamina program block from October 13, 2011. The story revolves around Shu Ouma, a high school boy who comes into possession of an ability called the "Power of the King" allowing him to draw out items called "Voids" from other people. He is then thrown into the conflict between a quasi-governmental organization known as GHQ and a rebel organization called Funeral Parlor which aims to restore Japan's independence from the GHQ.
