A4 Road (Northern Ireland)
The A4 is a major east–west road in Northern Ireland. It travels for 69.2 miles from Portadown to Belcoo through County Armagh, County Tyrone and County Fermanagh. Although once being a single continuous route, the A4 nowadays is split into two completely divided stretches. The route branches off from the A3 Lisburn-Armagh road in Portadown and meets the M1 at Junction 12. The A4 the re-appears at the end of the M1 motorway at Junction 15 south of Moygashel, from which point it continues uninterrupted to the border village of Belcoo in western County Fermanagh. At the border with the Republic of Ireland, the A3 meets with the N16 road to Sligo. For its entire length the A4 is a primary route. At present, it is mainly single carriageway, apart from a 13 mile long section from the end of the M1 at Moygashel until Ballygawley, which is dual carriageway. Portadown
Portadown () is a town in County Armagh, Northern Ireland. The town sits on the River Bann in the north of the county, about southwest of Belfast. It is in the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council area and had a population of about 22,000 at the 2011 Census. For some purposes, Portadown is treated as part of the "Craigavon Urban Area", alongside Craigavon and Lurgan. Although Portadown can trace its origins to the early 17th century Plantation of Ulster, it was not until the Victorian era and the arrival of the railway that it became a major town. It earned the nickname "hub of the North" due to it being a major railway junction; where the Great Northern Railway's line diverged for Belfast, Dublin, Armagh and Derry. A28 Road (Northern Ireland)
The A28 is a trunk road in the counties of Kent and East Sussex in south east England, connecting Margate, Canterbury, Ashford and Hastings. Starting at the seaside resort of Margate at the north-east point of Kent, the A28 runs inland and west-southwest to the cathedral city of Canterbury, before passing through the chalk hills of the North Downs via the gap cut by the River Stour, to the town of Ashford in the Vale of Holmesdale. From here, the A28 proceeds via the market town of Tenterden, to the East Sussex seaside town of Hastings, on the English Channel. Sligo
Sligo ( ; ga, Sligeach , meaning 'abounding in shells') is a coastal seaport and the county town of County Sligo, Ireland, within the western province of Connacht. The A509 is a road in Northern Ireland. It travels through County Fermanagh and continues to Cavan and Dublin in the Republic of Ireland as the N3. The road is a single-carriageway primary route, and forms part of a road corridor from Dublin to Ballyshannon via the N3 route in the Republic of Ireland and the A4 and A46 routes in Northern Ireland. A46 Road (Northern Ireland)
The A46 is a road in County Fermanagh, in Northern Ireland. It forms part of the route from Dublin to Ballyshannon ( Co. Donegal). It stretches 23.6 miles from Enniskillen to Belleek along the southwestern shoreline of Lower Lough Erne. In Enniskillen the A46 connects with the following roads including the A4, A32 and the A509 road. The A46 road leaves the island town of Enniskillen and connects with the A4 which connects with Belfast and also westwards along the Sligo Road to Belcoo and Sligo.
